The Rotary
Club

Numerous British Group employees are involved in their
local Rotary club and its activities:

British Group Joyce Randell Readathon

Supporting Literacy Through the Rotary
Read-A-Long Program

Joyce Randell volunteers her time as a Director of the
Rotary Read-A-Long and as a volunteer reader to the
children. This program schedules a number of reading
days in which Rotarians, police officers or athletes with
the Memorial University of Newfoundland Sea-Hawks,
visit classrooms to read a story book and then talk with the
children about the importance of reading and the role of the Rotary in the community.  In addition,
the Rotary club also donates a significant number of books to the school libraries.
